There are three types of employer sponsored visas for skilled migrants:
- Temporary Skilled Shortage Subclass 482 Visa (Employer sponsored visa).
If you hold a TSS Subclass 482 visa, your business sponsor can nominate you for a permanent employer sponsored visa – starting the process of obtaining permanent residence in Australia. Temporary Employer Sponsored Visas
This visa will allow you to come to Australia and work for an approved business sponsor for up to four years. You will be able to bring your family to work or study in Australia, and you can travel in and out of Australia as often as you need to.
- Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) (Class PE) Subclass 494. The Subclass 494 visa is valid for 5 years when you have worked in designated regional area for three years, you can apply for the Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) Visa [Subclass 191]. You do not need to be nominated by your employer for the Subclass 191 visa.
- Permanent Employer Sponsored Visa.
Permanent Employer Sponsored Visas include:Employer Nominated Visa (Subclass 186)
